93 Civic/b18b1 Build
Got this car when I was 15 back in 2005 for $100 plus the tow bill. Previous owner didn't change the oil and destroyed the engine. Car was covered in little dents and door dings, michigan honda rot and multiple colors of red from patch work. It was an auto, but I wasn't about to pass up the deal.
Got a newer d15b7 to replace the engine from Japan. Came with 41k miles and twin side draft carbs! Switched the EFI from the old engine over to the new.
Repainted when I was 17 over the summer between my junior and senior year in highschool
Here's how she sits now.
Interior:
-Kenwood KDC-MP335 Headunit
-Pioneer 6.5" speakers. 2 ways up front and 3 ways back.
-2004 OEM Honda Insight Bucket Seats
Exterior:
-Mugen Replica Front Lip
-Ebay Rear Lip
-OEM Trunk Spoiler
-Full Repaint
-Clear Corners
-Clear/Red Tails
Suspension:
-Matrix Coilovers(Temporarily)

A Couple years ago I picked up a b18b1 swap for $500 complete with engine, oem intake, oem exhause, ECU, harness, and tranny.

Not for a while at least. I've already got the LS Stage 2 cams. And Honestly, I'd probably just get the Toda Vtec killer cams if I did. So it would mostly just be done for the better ports. And the Valve cover of course haha.

Yeah that's true haha. Did you ever think about getting a s80 ITR trans?

Not for now. As of right now, this is still my daily. The LS is a decent tranny for highway usage. When I start tracking it, I'll start looking into a shorter geared tranny.

I've seen this car and had no ideas who owned it. This car looks sick! I think I even have a picture on my phone of it sitting in traffic haha

Very reasonable. Maybe even if you want to get deep into the build, go with a b16 or GSR trans and throw in a LS 5th for cruising.
